ABOUT

Matthew Temple began his career in the entertainment business in 2002 when he wrote and produced the award winning film “Senses of Place.” Shortly thereafter, he began working in production and development with producer Bill Borden, produced Columbia Picture’s “First Love: It’s the Music!” followed by many more.

Temple has long stood at crossroads of art and social action– his work and passion split between telling stories and participating in the creation of new paradigms wherein new stories for the future can be created. As a storyteller, he works in Hollywood as a producer, screenwriter, and director. As a creative entrepreneur, he is the founder and president of WeStrive, a 501(c)3 non-profit, co-founder of the Wandering Reel Traveling Film Festival, and creator of Dude, Let’s Talk!

Matthew recently wrapped production on the documentary, “Hardball – The Girls of Summer,” which follows the stories of the few women who play baseball in America and around the globe. It will be released fall 2019.
